Browse a supplier's catalogue while you order
October's ordering updates brought a supplier's whole catalogue into the web app's Create Order page. Instead of seeing only the first wines, you can search by wine, producer, region or supplier code and narrow the list by style, bottle size, vintage and other filters.
Choose a list or grid, add a wine, and the catalogue stays open. For people who can see purchase prices, the list also shows margin at the wine's selling price, or potential margin from your pricing rules for a wine you do not yet sell. Alternatives offers similar wines from your suppliers in the same bottle size.
Wines you add wait in one basket for your venue, grouped by supplier. You can send one supplier's order or send the groups together. Staff submit orders for approval; owners, admins and managers can send them.

Follow a delivery in parts
A supplier can answer an order line with part now and the rest later. The venue sees the quantities and the date for the remainder, and the order stays open until the rest arrives. On the web and in the phone app, receiving the delivery fills in the first part first.
Suppliers can mark an order shipped or delivered in the supplier portal and add a carrier and tracking information. In the web app, a venue can also add an optional delivery date when sending an order. A delivery marked as arrived still needs confirmation by an owner, admin or manager before the bottles enter stock.
If a supplier cannot deliver, the order is marked accordingly. On the web, Order elsewhere puts the wines back in the basket without that supplier. The phone app also shows the options to cancel or close the remaining bottles.

Ask My Assistant about a photo
On the web and in the phone app, you can add up to three photos to a question for My Assistant. Show it a wine list, a label or a shelf and ask about what is in the picture. Photos stay with the conversation and are deleted with it.
My Assistant also arrived in the phone app under More, then Tasting. It answers questions about your wines using the information your role may see. Its answers can be wrong, so check important details before acting on them.
In the web chat, organisations that have enabled changes can receive suggestions for stock, orders, wine cards and other tasks. A suggestion shows the current and proposed values. Nothing changes until you approve it, or check and save a pre-filled stock adjustment. Ask support answers questions about using Vinius from the help centre and lists its sources.

Build a personal taste profile
The phone app gained a taste profile under More, then Tasting. It uses scores from your tasting notes, entered in the app or on the web, to show your palate and the grapes, regions and styles you rate highest. Only you can see the profile.
If you have rated little or nothing, five questions give it a starting point. You can answer them again or adjust your palate by hand. As you rate wines, the profile changes; red, white, rosé and sparkling each get their own profile once you have rated enough of that colour.
My Assistant takes your profile into account when recommending wines to you. The profile screen itself is in the phone app, though scores you enter on the web count too.
Find similar wines in stock
In Wine Hub, the web app's Quick View and wine page gained a way to see similar wines you have in stock. Each result explains why it was picked, such as a shared grape or region, and opens when you click it. The wine page also tells you when the wine you are looking at is sold out at your venue.
The matching rules changed across the wine page, Quick View, phone app and ordering alternatives. Wines sharing a grape, subregion, appellation or producer take priority. Matches based only on weight, food pairing or price fill the list when fewer than six closer matches are available. People without permission to see prices can still receive similarly priced suggestions without seeing the price.
