Getting started after organization setup

Quick answer

• Open the dashboard and follow the Setup Progress card.
• Everyone must complete Storage Setup.
• Owners, managers and staff: complete Pricing Rules and Glass Volumes.
• Private collectors can skip pricing and glass volumes unless they plan to sell wine.

What the dashboard wizard tracks

The Setup Progress card checks only the configuration steps required for your role:

• Storage Setup, required for everyone
• Pricing Rules, required for owners and venue roles
• Glass Volumes, required for owners and venue roles who sell by the glass

Once these are complete, the wizard shows 100% completion.

Step 1: storage setup (everyone)

Create your cellar structure in this order:

1. Create a Site.
2. Add Rooms inside the Site.
3. Add Storage Units inside each Room.

Step 2: pricing rules (owner path)

If you sell wine, define pricing rules for consistent bottle pricing and markup behaviour.

If you serve wine by the glass, define your glass sizes and defaults.

After the wizard

These are the common next steps once the Setup Progress card is complete:

• Add or import your first wines.
• Invite users and assign access.
• Create a wine card and publish a PDF or QR code.
