    Managing wine cards

Create, maintain and publish guest-facing wine cards, from building the list to exporting a PDF, sharing a QR code and running a digital wine card.

    Quick answer

    • A wine card is a curated wine list with presentation settings.
    • The standard flow is: build the list, save, export the PDF, set the active PDF, then share the QR code or public URL.
    • For tablet or mobile kiosk mode, mark one site-assigned list as Digital Wine Card.

    What you can manage

    • Wine card creation, duplication and deletion
    • Wine selection for each card
    • Styling and display settings: layout, colours, labels, grouping and sorting
    • Category structure and ordering
    • PDF exports, active PDF selection and QR sharing
    • Digital Wine Card assignment for a site
    1. Create a new wine card, or duplicate an existing one.
    2. Configure the settings: title, layout, language and visual style.
    3. Add or remove wines in the card.
    4. Generate and refine categories.
    5. Save your changes.
    6. Export the PDF and set the correct PDF as active.
    7. Share via QR code or public link, or enable Digital Wine Card for kiosk and mobile display.

    Using a digital wine card

    • Use it for tablet or mobile guest viewing in one selected site.
    • Keep one card clearly marked as your active digital guest menu.
    • If you manage multiple sites, set the digital card choice per site.

    Important rules

    • Save before exporting a PDF. Unsaved list or category edits can be missed in the generated output.
    • Digital Wine Card requires a site-assigned wine card.
    • Only one wine card can be tagged as Digital Wine Card per site at a time.
    • Switch the active PDF before deleting old files.
    • The web UI enforces a practical limit of 10 stored PDFs per wine list view.

    Organization vs site behaviour

    • Wine cards are organization-owned records.
    • Lists can be site-assigned to keep the display context local.
    • Digital Wine Card behaviour follows your active site context.
